Your Responsibilities
Lead the development of an underwater autonomy stack for the underwater inspection drone system EXRAY
Development of modular sensor fusion algorithms with vision sensors, various acoustics sensors and inertial measurements to enable autonomous behaviors, such as navigation, return to dock, exploration and auto-inspection in various scenarios and drone configurations
Testing and debugging on the bench and in real environments (pool, lake, complex subsea structures)
Coordinate outsourced team to help on the code design and implementation.
Your Qualifications
MSc in Computer Science or Robotics (or related fields). Relevant PhD is a plus
2+ years of experience in the field of sensor fusion, SLAM or general autonomy
2+ years of programming in C++ and Python
Knowledge of ROS (ROS2 preferred)
Experience with Linux systems and command line interface, as well as git
Must have Swiss working permit or EU/EFTA/CH citizenship
