Your Responsibilities
System administrator: setting up and maintaining servers and cloud infrastructure, data storage and backup solutions (50%). Help us build a scalable IT architecture to run and grow the company.
Software developer: develop and maintain state-of-the-art cloud architecture, applications, algorithms and interfaces for the future breakthrough products of the company (50%)
Help design, build and run a cloud architecture for storing and processing inspection data from an underwater drone
Help design, build and run a customer portal for inspection data
Continuously focusing on improving processes and workflows
Supporting wider team as necessary
Other tasks that are deemed suitable in collaboration with the team, under consideration of current company activities, your experience and skill profile.
Your Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, SQL. Other languages relevant to backend services a plus (e.g. Rust).
Knowledge of common software frameworks and techniques: REST, docker, AWS, cloud services
Knowledge of cybersecurity (encryption, authentication, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in Linux/Unix system administration, Docker, data bases, understanding of server security and system maintenance
Experience in UI programming (Python, JavaScript, common web frameworks)
Fluent communication in English
Demonstrated “can do” entrepreneurial attitude through experience, who can persevere in achieving goals consistently
Excelling at multitasking and prioritization
Willingness to travel for tests and deployments
